NORDIC Pro Coatings is now ready with their new GRAPHENE v2 – a further development of their popular GX-coating.

The updated v2 formula is built with a focus on even more gloss, a smoother surface, and better durability. The result is a coating that clearly elevates the standard compared to the previous version and provides good insight into where modern graphene-based coatings are headed.

What's new in GRAPHENE v2?

• Better coverage and filling capacity → gives more depth and higher gloss


• Improved chemical resistance → withstands even strong tar and glue removers

What do graphene and nanotube technology actually do?

This is where the coating really stands out.

Graphene is an extremely strong and thin material (in fact, one of the strongest materials known). When used in a ceramic coating, it offers several advantages:

• Strength and durability: Graphene reinforces the coating, making it better at resisting wear, chemicals, and weather exposure


• Better heat dissipation: This reduces the risk of water spots because the surface doesn't get as hot


• Low surface energy: Water, dirt, and grime have a harder time adhering


• Deep gloss: Provides a more "wet" and dark finish on the paintwork

Nanotube technology (carbon nanotubes) takes it a step further. These are microscopic tube structures integrated into the coating:

• More flexibility: The coating becomes less brittle and better at working with the paintwork

Easy to apply – even for beginners

One of the major advantages of GX v2 is how easy it is to work with.

The coating is formulated with a working time of approximately 10 minutes, which gives you ample time to apply and subsequently level it correctly. At the same time, it is incredibly easy to wipe off, which in practice means that you:

In short: Everyone can do this – both professionals and regular car enthusiasts.

This is why it's black (and it's completely normal)

When you open the bottle, you will notice that the coating is completely black. This is not a mistake – it is actually a mark of quality.

The dark color is due to the high content of graphene, which contributes to the coating's strength, smoothness, and water-repellent properties.
