What is a rinseless wash, or as it's called in Danish - What is a rinse-free wash?
A rinse-free wash is a washing technique that allows you to wash your car in a way that doesn't require rinsing afterwards.
It's not waterless, but rinseless!
This way of washing your car can save you time and products and is especially attractive if you live in an apartment, for example, and don't have a place to wash.
Why rinseless wash?
There can be several reasons why a rinseless wash is preferred. It uses less water, which is good for those who live in an apartment.
It creates less mess, less water runs down the floor into the drain, and it can be considered more environmentally friendly.
Rinseless washing can also be preferred when you just need to wipe off light dirt at exhibitions, races, etc.
Rinseless washing can also save time because you don't spend time rinsing the car.
Since there's no rinsing, there's likely less water to dry off afterwards.
The risk of rinseless wash.
Although rinseless wash is very practical in many situations, it is not always the right washing method.
When you limit the use of water and don't rinse both before and after, you also don't rinse away any loosened dirt or dust that might be present.
Rinseless washing is more suitable for a "quick wipe" or a "general cleaning," and much less for a "deep cleaning."
For a surface covered in mud, dirt, etc., rinseless washing is probably not the right choice. There is a risk of damaging and creating scratches and swirls in the paint.
If your car is VERY dirty, it is still recommended to use, for example, a garden hose or a pressure washer to remove the largest amounts of dirt and grime.
So how do you do it?
The process of a rinse-free wash is not much different from a normal wash, except for the rinsing stage, of course.
The most common way to do a rinse-free wash would probably go something like this:
Take out your 2 buckets.
Fill one with clean water and the other with your rinse-free wash product diluted to the correct ratio.
Use a proper wash mitt to wash your car as usual.
Here it is highly recommended to use a special sponge for the job, such as the Ultra black sponge from The Rag Company.
Work one panel at a time!
After washing a panel, use a clean microfiber towel to dry the surface.
Use another clean microfiber towel to dry any remaining residue.
Job done - The process is simple and straightforward. Not much different from a normal 2-bucket wash.
Tips & Tricks
- Always work one panel at a time; depending on the weather, you might want to divide the roof and hood into 2 sections.
- Use plenty of clean microfiber towels.
- Fold your microfiber towel over after each panel to use a clean side on the next panel.
- From the top of the car down to the lowest parts.
- Rinse your wash mitt or sponge carefully to remove dirt trapped in the fibers.
- Do not start rubbing a dirty spot. If you rub too much and too hard, you risk creating scratches in the paint.
- Use the side of your microfiber towel with the long fibers when drying the car.
- Let the product do the cleaning.
- Never let the product dry by itself.

The Absolute Rinseless Wash experience is best when the vehicle is cool and dry to the touch.
Shade is preferred, but it can be safely used in direct sunlight by washing one section at a time.

Submerge a wash mitt, sponge, or several microfiber towels and thoroughly mix the product.
Squeeze excess product from the wash medium and begin washing from the top to the bottom of the vehicle, dipping back into the wash bucket frequently.
